One sordid mess plied on another. When loyalty to malignant narcissist trumps either integrity or competence, we can expect only more of the same.

Thanks. Please don't use the P word with the orange thing. He's a resident. A terrorist.

Very informative, coming from a respected legal mind. I agree that Trump's call to release grand jury testimony is a ploy to distract from the possibility that the entire file may be damaging. The revelation of the 50th birthday card Trump sent Epstein, which mentions shared secrets, intensifies the possibility of damaging evidence. It is difficult when engaging in lawlessness and lies to remember everything. And I am disturbed by the mention of "secrets" often associated with pedophile jargon. I believe Pam Bondi is incompetent and stepped deep into it this time.

Bondi never has a “good” day! But, she is so over her head in the private legal firm for Trump!

Yet, recall who his first choice was for the post? Mr. Matt Gaetz!

Just time and Bondi will cave and go back to Florida where she never should have left!

Yes, she is the lightening rod-deservedly so. But what made me nauseous was that Gabbard, the DNI, stood in front of the people of our country and accused a former US president of treason. This was despite evidence to the contrary. She did this to gain favor (not unlike Bondi) and throw out red meat to the faithful. Maybe the distraction didn’t work because the Epstein scandal is huge but it was reckless and egregious nonetheless.

Again, I don’t get Elie Honig. He seems to think DOJ precepts, precedents, norms are applicable to this administration whereas this crew led by KJO, have in every single such case blown wide open all such ‘norms’ or ‘rules’. With KJO assuming the role of ‘King’ (Justice Sotomayor just about said that) and his sycophants like Bondi, and Honig’s pals from the SDNY, venally corrupt Todd Blanche, and Emil Bove, who lie outright to the public, lie to their staff, carry out witch-hunts and have purged the DOJ on KJO’s behalf ignoring decades of precedence and the law, where civil service protections do not allow for such purges in America as those that happened in Stalinist Russia, and Erdogan’s Turkey. But they are happening which is seriously alarming, but Honig has his panties in a stitch or in a wedgie about Bondi’s inability to simply tell the world to go FI ; and hence is lecturing Bondi on how to “get away with the bull-sh-te” denial of the Epstein files. You really are angling for a job in the KJO stable, eh Honig. Pretty sad and actually pathetic.
